I like mine a lot. Really don't know if it does a better job, or if it just feels like it.

I'm on my second Sonicare; exwife got the first. My parents got one after I recommened it to them and they like it. One of my friends bought one because I have one and he likes his too. Add 4 more people to the poll of people who are happy with their Sonicare.

My father got one, convinced me to get one. I love mine, so I convinced my gf and 2 of my friends to get Sonicares as well. They all love it. Add 5 more happy Sonicare users. :)

Sam's and Costco have the ?4800? quadpacer version for $90. The package includes two handles and two brushheads. It's a hell of a deal. There's also a ?10? MIR out there. Search for it at HD or F@twallet.

My wife and I love ours. I don't use it every morning (cause I'm lazy) but Iuse it almost every night. Works great. Great on your plaqueline, and I can honestly say my teeth are whiter.

don't use it with baking soda toothpaste. for whatever reason baking soda toothpaste makes the thing develop all sorts of cracks in the housing. sonicare just figured this out, so its not in the manual for it.

To be honest I have had both a Braun and now the Sonicare and they seemed to be equally good. My dentist was telling me there was a Consumer Reports(?) study done that found the Braun slightly better but that in his opinion either should be good to use.

According to a recent product study done on electric tooth brushes, the Soniccare toothbrush finished in second place behind the Braun 3D Excel. The test subjects found that the Braun 3D Excel was easier to move inside of the mouth due to it's round brush head, as opposed to the long rectangular head of the Sonicare. The Braun 3D excel also had an oscillating action that was shown to be better for plaque removal than the back and fourth action of the Sonicare brush.
