Got mine last night, apparently the last one available in the whole town. I picked up Super Mario Advance, but I've been mainly playing some original Gameboy games. Overall I'd say I'm happy with it. Anyone else?

I like mine. But I think it's too dark without built-in backlight. Playing Super Mario Advance was fine, but try it again with Castlevania. Oh man, those dungeons and catacombs are dark. I can't even see my own character. :(

I am seriously considering investing in one of those worm light or that light with the protective cover.

I totally agree with you on that. I heard that there were a few problems with the current Worm Light, but a new one was being designed specifically for the GBA.

I've been playing more Zelda on the GBA than I have GBA games. Portable Super Mario 2 doesn't cut it. I want to check out Dodge Ball though.

The screen is too dark to be sure, and they DEF should have made it backlit, and don't give me crap about battery life, it would have taken 5 hours away from it.

However, since that is not an option TRUST ME ON THIS.... Get the Pelican light.. with the cover... It is the BEST one.. It will make it once again playable, trust me.. I am very hard to please and the GBA worm light sucked!

I disgree, I think the screen is fine. And it would have dramatically reduced the battery life, and made the unit more expensive. I like it this way.

It would not have been "dramatic" though 5 hours out of 15 I guess is dramatic, but still, I would have taken the 9-10 hours backlit, over the 15 un-backlit.

Like I said though, get the Pelican :)

I never really thought about it. I was sitting here, typing something, when I happened to glance over at the GBA laying next to my keyboard.

"Ooooooooohhhhh, how I must play NOW!"

And so I defeated the Knight series on Expert.

<< I guarentee Nintendo will make some sort of adjustment to the GBA screen. >>

doubt it. I can't see them making a critical change like that after the release. It's like Sony deciding to build-in modems to the PS2 because they realized it'd be a good idea.

I love my imaginary GameBoy Advance it runs on air, needs no stinkin' backlight and only cost me NOTHING :)

The way traffic was last night it would have taken 1.5 hours to get to Fry's and nab one, time is money so I didn't buy one.
