I looked arround a bit and didn't see any postings about this yet. So I figured I start.
In case you have not heard what is going on... just visit HERE

I own about every Software you can buy from Blizzard. I have the complete set of Starcraft and own D & DII. I will consider my options and for now not use any of Blizzards Software. While there products tend to be top notch it is not worth having my Computer scanned. Nobody should be able to ask that of me.

Is it not enough that I have to deal with the stupit copy protections that give me trouble running it on my computer... because it doesn't like my choice of Hardware IE my CD-Rom?

For right now... and until this matter is closed I will not use Blizzard Software, nor purchase any future product!

I wouldnt mind if they would do something about the constant cheating among the other games. I would like to see b.net done away with. Makes all their games too popular and that means more freaking cheaters. I want to go back to the good ol days of Kali.

Some one needs to write a program to stop b.net from scanning and transmitting anything that does not have to do with the game you are playing. Have it send fake data if needs be. What are they looking for any way? Hacks, warez, what?

Supposedly there are doing this to prevent ppl from duping items on the realms. I like the fact that they are tring to stop it. However the idea of having my computer scaned doesn't sit right with me. Any one have any idea what exactly they are scanning and uploading.

They can scan my computer all they want. I trust them more than the paranoid jack-offs worried about how they leeched photoshop thinking that Blizzard gives a flying @$!@ or just taking a stand because of "the principal," because computer "privacy" is the biggest problem we face, not health care, domestic violence, or escalating hostilities with China and half of the third world.
