Yeah, I know, being the dorks that we are, *no* girl would do that with us in a million trillion years.

So, follow this entirely hypothetical, non-reality based situation; you, a young college guy, sleep in the same bed with a college-age girl, yet, not "physical contact" was made - is this something just "friends" do, or is there something more?

Like I said, this is completely hypothetical, so don't even think about saying crap like "it depends - gimmie some more info" - just make up the rest of the crap in your head if you need to.

Personally, I'm leaning "no". :music:

I've slept in the same bed with a female friend and actually made contact...and we were and are *only* friends.

I've also slept in the same bed with a female friend and made no contact and we are only friends. I wouldn't say it is done on a regular basis though.

I've slept in beds with girls with no contact before, but during times like on trips and stuff where we'd just share a bed or something, or passing out drunk at someone's house.

Other than that, no.

I was in that situation a few times...have to say that there was always an attraction there, but we didn't do anything, and are still good friends. Interesting place to be though :)

Same here. One of my female friends stayed at my apartment a couple nights because she didn't want to drive home drunk. We slept in the same bed and nothing happened. I've done it with random girls too.

This is something that a lonely geek who is too pathetic to take charge and make a move does. It must suck to be automatically put in the friend zone by every girl you meet.

Ah, if this *completely hypothetical* situation was true, you'd be right. :D

Hypothetically, yes. Practically, no. :moon:

*edit* Since this IS a completely made-up question, that is. :D

Dude, I've been in this situation a few times (too drunk so I crashed in closest bed, girl climbs in later) but even if they're just friends we would usually end up spooning...that's just the way these situations work out!

I did this once. It was a friends girlfriend who was staying at my house. She apparently decided she wanted some that night and made "physical contact" but there was never any sexual "physical contanct". At least in the strict sense of the word. A friends girl was something, or someone if you will, that I just couldn't do.

Word. I've also been in this exact same situation in hotels on group road trips to Nuevo Laredo. It sucks to cram 6-8 people in a room, so youre going to have both beds filled (and the other 4 get the floor, you snooze you lose) even if there is no desire, its just something drunk people do

i personally have no problems with it

granted it'd take a whole lot of reasuring with my gf, but i think it can be done and kept kosher

however, the situation does present a whole lot of posibility for going beyond "just friends" real fast

My best friend in college was female. I slept at her place with her many nights with nothing but some snuggling going on.

Of course all that ended when I started dating her roommate :D.

Many times in the same bed with females who are just friends. My fiancee doesn't care, it really doesn't mean anything except you're both tired, and there's a bed.

Love my gf too much to do that.
When my female friend came to visit, I gave her my bed and I slept on the floor. :D
