The poll also found that just 6% of Americans think the mad cow situation in the United States is a "crisis," while 28% say a "major problem." About two-thirds of Americans, 65%, say the situation is only a "minor problem" (53%) or "not a problem" at all (12%).

put me in the 53% but I do think the feds should do something to prove that it is an isolated cases. I have passed on buying beef for right now. Not because I fear mad cow but I'm hoping for cheap cow real soon but it doesn't seem to likely.
