I agree, why don't we clone something useful? Like passed extinct species... and no, I don't mean dinosaurs.. I'm talking about like the dodo bird In the last 10,000 years, 400 species of birds have gone extinct. Mostly species on islands, because animals on islands evolve completely diffrently than animals on the big continents. Very specialized. Very easy to disrupt.

Anyone ever heard of the kakapo? Amazing, beautiful bird, native to the island of New Zealand.

There are but ~60 left on the planet.
