do they even have the means to attack us here in the u.s.? they were not even a close match for our forces in desert storm.

Exactly my point, I don't think so. They allegedly attacked in America because they were allow to be here. Do a better job in immigrations and fewer if any will "slip through the cracks".! Why have people shipped away from their families and killed when the "real" problem is still not being solved?

Well you just basically said Osama won, and now all we fear is fear itself (FDR would not be pleased). Sadam doesn't have the means to directly attack us (note: he was not involved in 9-11), nor do we have any evidence that he has WMD's (like say North Korea does). We're basing our evidence on empty shells that will not work as WMD's, old publically avaliable documents, and Bush's flat out propoganda that Sadam was somehow a part of 9-11 and therefore he is a part of our war on terror.

Its crap. Going to war with Iraq with no strong evidence to back it up will lead to worse things to come.

Are Americans only in the States?

Are Americans only in the States?

Reread please, if I speak of immigrations then obviously not!

They = Middle Eastern People

They are different I know, but they get grouped together in blame and labeled as EVIL for one reason or another. :|

My fault, I didn't phrase that well.

Are there Americans and American interests overseas that Iraq could attack if they were so inclined?

The Iraqi intelligence service is so extensive and so spread out around the world, that it wouldn't surprise me if there are agents here right now.

Glad to see we have such a strong argument for a war that could potentially catalyze WWIII

I think there's one under my bed, but I'm ascared to look. 😱

It's not a argument for war. I'm just stating a fact: Iraqi intelligence is very sophisticated. Should I lie and say that it's not? Would that make you feel better? 😕

14th Directorate - Office of Special Operations conducts the training of agents for clandestine and sensitive special operations outside the country. The main training facility is located in Salman Pak 12 miles southeast of Baghdad, is one of the most important and largest in Mukhabarat. This directorate undertakes the most secret operations and was responsible for the attempted assassination of former President George Bush during a visit to Kuwait in April 1993 and the assassination of Talib Al Suheil. Its role in assassinations abroad is the main why the General Intelligence headquarters were targeted in June 1993 by US cruise missiles. It conducts joint operations with the Mujahideen Khalq Organisation, and undertakes training of specially selected officers for this type of operation. Agents may also attend a special school, which provide language courses and orientation concerning the country to which they will be assigned.
