As president, Barack Obama warned then incoming president Donald Trump about Michael Flynn. Oh the days when America actually had a true intelligent president.

HumblePie and fskimospy. JUST STOP! PLEASE! GIVE US A BREAK! Take it to PMs or wherever you want as long as we don't have to see it. No more posting in this thread. Either of you. I think my eyes are bleeding after reading all that.

If they take it to PM's they'll just end up meeting to engage in fisticuffs which will just turn into a full-on make-out session which they will then have to take to a hotel room where something like the following will happen...

not that there's anything wrong with that...

but seriously the tension between them is so thick that you can't even cut it with an adamantium chainsaw

He should be on a List for sure.
I've Got a Little List - The Mikado - Gilbert and Sullivan
"
[KO-KO]
As some day it may happen that a victim must be found
I've got a little list — I've got a little list
Of society offenders who might well be underground
And who never would be missed — who never would be missed!
There's the pestilential nuisances who write for autographs —
All people who have flabby hands and irritating laughs —
All children who are up in dates, and floor you with 'em flat —
All persons who in shaking hands, shake hands with you like that —
And all third persons who on spoiling tête-á-têtes insist —
They'd none of 'em be missed — they'd none of 'em be missed!

[Chorus]
He's got 'em on the list — he's got 'em on the list;
And they'll none of 'em be missed — they'll none of 'em be missed

Man, i love you guys, but someone already said it first.

Try to remember that this thread is about a right-wing leader and retired general publicly calling on the military to violently and illegally overthrow our Constitutionally-elected govt and install a Myanmar-like authoritarian dictatorship.

How does a retired person face a court martial? You have to be active duty to face a court martial. Unless you want forced conscription? The legal ramifications of trying to make him face government penalties for speech on this issue is absurd. This thread is going no where. Now as far as stripping his retirement benefits, that is something else.
I noticed that while you spent a great deal of time and effort trying to explain how Flynn's comments weren't illegal, at no time in this thread did you even consider condemning Flynn for calling for the unlawful and violent overthrow of our Constitutional govt in order to install a brutal authoritarian military regime that murders its own citizens for their speech.
One thing is very clear from this situation: Republicans want Myanmar for America. They said so loudly and clearly. "It should happen here."

Lol... this from the guy who thinks liberal speech is treason and wants antifa and BLM locked for their "socialist" speech. And now you're defending this clown who used his position of power to say that a military coup, where thousands of people would be killed for their speech, like what happened in Myanmar, "should happen here."
Too fuckin rich.

Really Dude....Really....
Taj is okay defending an ex-general who said that a Myanmar-esque coup "should happen here" in America, presumably with all the same murdering of citizens for their speech like happened in Myanmar, because he can always make up (and believe) lies about how leftists were gonna do the same so righties are justified in doing it first.
He is a literal case study in the paranoid delusion of pre-emptive self-defense.

I'll post it again Skippy, in case you don't understand laws on the books...
Sedition - Wikipedia
It's possible he is too stupid to understand, but I find it more likely that he's just a dishonest sack of shit, who has to constantly misrepresent facts and reality to support his own sack-of-shit beliefs.

Trying to give him facts becomes nothing more than a feedback loop with him denying what it states or means...much like the fake crackerjack lawyer
