POLL: Should people still put a 'results' option on polls with the new Fusetalk?

The new version of Fusetalk has a button to view the results. You can click it to see the current votes, and still go back and vote later. Actually clicking a 'results' option is like saying "I'm too stupid to have an opinion, but I just have to vote for something."

I did it on purpose. :)

Yeah, because anytime you don't have an opinion on something, it's because you're stupid.

I say NO, it's retarded. Some posters still haven't broken the habit yet, though. Skoorb, I'm talking to you.

Shouldn't have ever put a results button in the first place. A well written poll will have an answer that everyone can choose.

I don't think we need a "Results" option on every poll but it would be nice if they all included a "Quit making these stupid polls, idiot." option. :p

Actually clicking a 'results' option is like saying "I'm too stupid to have an opinion, but I just have to vote for something."

What if it's something you don't know enough about to have an informed opinion, but are curious to see where other people stand? Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

yes. the results option is there so that the results of your poll are less skewed by people that have no opinion, but vote anyway just to do it.

Then you would click on the view results button that Fusetalk provides. It shows you how other people voted without having to vote yourself. This is new to Fusetalk. The old version didn't have it which is why people habitually include the results option, but it's no longer necessary.

If the person wrote the poll in a nice way, they'd have an option stating "I'm not sure", or "Other", or something like that.
