John Kerry received a bronze star, a silver star and three purple hearts during his tour in Vietnam, a tour which many have said lasted four short months. Moreover, after leaving Vietnam, he was allowed to leave the Navy early to run for office in 1972.

Kerry, when asked about the severity of his wounds, stated that he was "walking wounded," which raises questions about his military service.

Should he, then, open up his medical and military records for voters to see, or should he continue to put pressure on Bush to do the same all the while he keeps his battle wounds secret?
