I take it places with me, and use it sometimes, but it spends a lot of time sitting in a bag. I do however pull it out sometimes, I don't know if those times are enough to warrant keeping the slower hardware for all the time I'm at home.

Only if you don't require portability (and need the SuperDrive)? Do you have to front any cash to even out the trade?

Nope, not putting up any cash, and I know the iMac is worth more, but I kinda like the fact that I can take the laptop with me.

Nope, not putting up any cash, and I know the iMac is worth more, but I kinda like the fact that I can take the laptop with me.

I'm not a fan of iBooks, but I'd keep it if it has a Combo Drive and enough RAM to be usable. On second thought, I personally would need a 14" screen as well.
