Poll: Should I get smashed for my birthday?

Well, my parents are taking me to lunch, my friends are cooking me dinner, and after that... what to do?

My friend's family owns a restaurant where I can easily get plastered beyond belief (and have), but I kind of want to do something that involves making a drunken ass of myself in front of girls I don't know. Err, I mean, something that involves picking up chicks.

Decisions, decisions.

I'm not a big drinker, I fidn it boring, and just.... boring... I'd say no. WHen I turn 21, I wont be getting smashed. Its just so... overrated.

Bwahaha, 21 😛
I've got 4 months 'til my 18th, then I won't be remembering the next day, thank god for UK laws 😉

But it's compulsory you get plastered.

If you have to ask the question then the answer is no.

But, happy birthday. 😉

Why is the answer no? :Q

I should clarify that I've been alcohol free for a while now. My now-ex-girlfriend and I had a pact against getting drunk. But uh... operative prefix being "ex"... that pact is no longer legally binding. 😛

It's a matter of getting back into the swing of things, I guess!

Why do people find it fun to be reduced to bumbling idiots who can't control themselves?

Drink if you want, but getting drunk is the most STUPID thing I see people do.

Anyone who goes to college and doesn't get smashed at least twice a week is weird.

I was smashed an average of 4 days a week and still made it out with a 3.6 gpa. 😛

To paraphrase Robin Williams (he was talking about the sixties)

If you remember your 21st birthday, you weren't there...

Eh, when I hit 21, getting drunk was basically not as fun anymore (I had done it plenty prior to 21) so I just had a few beers with some friends.

But there's nothing quite like whipping out that ID for the first time (legit) and buying some brews!
