yea, I say go for it. How much do they run anyway?

I have to double check. I was looking for some info from you guys 🙂 I will be right back. I heard around 12 grand. Hmm...

EDIT: Wow, around 14000, insane...

My girlfriend has a 2001 Tiburon and its been teriffic... No problems whatsoever...

lower model or GT?

Ive test driven GT and it was ok.

imho exterior styling is best among other cars in class/price range.
but interior is not up to my expectations...

I dont think it is too bad of a choice since it does have 10 year warranty thing.

if you can get a GT for $17k i say go ahead but if they say $20k.. forget it 🙂

Edmund's TMV pricing for the 4 cylinder model w/manual trans.: $17,269.
Edmund's TMV pricing for the 6 cylinder "GT" model w/manual trans.: $18,727.

I think that might be tough. I just posted the Edmund's TMV prices in this thread. It looks like the high $18K range for the "street" price on the V6 GT model. I guess I'd check out the used market. Get a 2003 that has low miles on it - the price should be much better.

hmm i just checked carsdirect.com and their direct price for 03 GT 6 speed is 16,318.

good luck.

Yeah, I just looked up the prices too. I might have to find a used one...darn, I am gonna have to look around for a car. I was setting my mind on this one 🙁

In the time it would take me to ask for PICS ?! of a 2003 model, I could just go and look it up myself... damn you.

EDIT>> How come it's not listed here ?

sure, why not

Any reasons? 🙂

My roommate just told me today that Ferrari helped them design the body. Would explain why it isn't fugly like most of their make 😛
Not true. Check out this link, it states that the new Tiburon came from Hyundai's own design studio.

People might think it's Ferrari-designed because it's a ripoff of the 456GT. However, they did steal from the best, so the car does look better than most of their fleet. 🙂
