Yes! Shower your friends with charged batteries, and your foes with discharged batteries!

RC Cars.

I'm thinking of making 3 sets of 6V packs ---> 15 batteries
I could use 2 new sets for the transmitter ---> 2 x 8 batteries (16)
A friend needs 6 to 8.

That leaves 21 to 23 batteries left on a pack of 60.

I could use 3 sets for the camera ---> 12 batteries. That leaves 9 to 11 left over.
Maybe I should go with the 60 pack. :Q

An Energizer smart charger. It takes 4 batteries at once. Not fancy but pretty damn good. Charges with 1.8A (got it back when 1800mAh was the shiznit)
The 6V packs will be charged by a computerized charger made for RC stuff. 0.5A to 5A charge current.

29 hours was based on the Energizer charger.

60 is too many. 24 is fine. I have a ton of AA NIMH batteries that are just sitting there because everything nowdays uses AAA.

And buy a good charger if you are serious about using rechargeable batteries. There are a million cheap ones out there which just ruin batteries a lot faster than normal.

How do I test the real capacity of a NiMH battery? I hate it when a set of NiMH batts die real quickly and I don't know which one was the culprit.
