There are many more ways to spend $150....sub for the sentra is NOT practical whether we have budgeted or not for it....Skoorb knows that, although he will pretend not to....if I said I wanted $150 in clothes, he would choke.

If you wanted that $150 from, say, Fredrick's of Hollywood I think he would drive you at a high rate of speed to the store.
Otherwise, you're probably right

You made the mistake of asking rather than just showing up at home with a subwoofer for which youve alreday lost the receipt. "look what I picked up on my way home from work!"

Mrsskoorb says alot of things, besides, it's only $150. I spent $200-250 to replace my factory speakers and I am glad I did, so I am sure you'll be just as happy to have a sub in your Sentra, which will be transferable to a newer car down the road. I say do it!!
<___sub helps FIND Loose panels, too!Originally posted by: Radiohead
it might rattle all the nuts and bolts loose on your car

Mrsskoorb says no because it's an old cheap car. My argument is that when we get rid of the car I can move the sub to another one, so a sub would offer years of family enjoyment for everyone. Moroever, I would want to spend a scant $150 tops on it, so I see no problem with the idea.

She does say a lot. SHE replaced the factory speakers in the Sentra already...the thing is about to die! I want a new car, but Skoorbie just wants a Subwoofer...go figure!

I though you drove the Maxima? Or is it that you want him to have a newer car so you're denying him the satisfaction of saving money by continuing to drive the Sentra which you know he will keep longer if he gets a sub? C'mon Mrsskoorb, a subwoofer isn't going to hurt a thing. Just let him have his toy. And it's cool that you replaced the spakers for him.::thumbs up::

Always right my friend, always right...

I do drive the Maxima...I was only joking about the new car after reading the 350Z thread and G35...
But in all honesty, he gets all the toys he needs and he knows it. He is NOT deprived by any means.
Wouldn't the money be better spent for a nice little getaway for Skoorbie and his wife?Or maybe a new camera? Better yet, how about NEW BRAKES FOR MY MAXIMA!
I do lots of him...he fails to mention the things I do do...typical man. I even baked him a nice turkey yesterday (after washing and ironing all his clothes) so that he could have nice turkey sandwiches. Heck, I finally gave in and he is now taking creatinine!

I'm not saying your not a good woman, I'm just saying it's only a $150. I'm sure if you tell him he'd be happy to get a new camera and brake pads are cheap. Although I'm sure you'd have to put them on yourself, seeing how 'ol Skoorbie isn't too mechanically inclined. It has nothing to do with debrivation, just the fact that I'm sure $150 purchase isn't going to break your budget.
And why did you deny him taking creatine? Obviously the guy wants to work out so he can look better for you. Creatine is essential. ::shrugs:: Seems strange to me. Give the boy his sub.

AND Skoorb is NOT whipped. Even he wouldn't say he was. When it comes to it, he will do what he thinks is right....hopefully taking into consideration the conversations we have had at home.

I didn't deny creatinine....just worried about his whittle 'ol kidneys!
Skoorbie has a bad history with his "speaker purchases." Funny how $150 isn't a lot when it comes to him, but if I left now and spent $150, there would be hell to pay.
