The song's ok, it's catchy, has a good beat and flows well, but it lacks a certain something, almost like she did it in her sleep. It's not groundbreaking, nor is it outstanding. The video, however, really makes me sit back and scratch my head, because it has nothing to do with the song. Watching it, I feel like I'm back in the old Disney movie "Tron".

She's still a hottie, though..

I kind of like that song and can't say anything bad about Shania since I don't know her; seems like a decent person in the few interviews I've seen. That whole CD's grown on me since my wife got it for Christmas. And the marketing tactic of having a 'pop' and 'country' version for the entire album was very clever. Ironically, I actually like the country version of most songs a little better and I usually don't care for most country music. Granted, there's not a huge difference between the pop and country versions, maybe a steel guitar, some real drums and the pacing of the rhythm guitarist being the biggest difference.

After seing that the song title better change to "I'm Gonna Whip You Good S&M Style".
I think all of her videos were badly made (bad idea/concept)

About the song, yes your description is spot on, I also agree that the video doesn't fit with the song at all. The stange thing, at least to me, is that the song sounds really good when watching the video. So good, that I Grokstered the song to add to my playlist. Bleh, when listening to just the song(audio), it sounds like someone took a 20 second soundclip and just strung it together for 3-4 minutes. Kinda sucky.

Shania is such a hot chick though, I find it difficult to criticize her.
