I don't care - I'm sick of hearing Reagan and Arnold in the same sentence. This isn't a joke - it is the California Governorship. While it is a circus it is far from funny anymore.

Why do you even care? Don't you live in Iowa??

Maybe because California is the 5th largest economy in the world. Maybe because Ronald Reagan was one of the greatest Conservative Presidents this country has ever seen - which is NOTHING like Arnold. Why do you care where I live? I don't care that you live at your mom's house.😉

It sounds like you care more about adding another hash mark to the "R" column than you do about the state of California. You'd throw your support behind a 5-lb rock if it was a member of the Republican party. Arnold doesn't have a plan for CA. At this point, he stands for nothing. You're basing your support on party affiliation. As your great leader would say, "It's pure politics."

What Cali needs is strong Republican leadership, their(Cali's) liberal policies have spent them into a hole that will be tough to get out of without strong leadership. I'd like to see an "R" do it in Cali because theY(Cali Repubs) have become weak over the last decade. They need to stand strong as they once did and fix problems instead of just being the lapdogs of every Liberal with a cause in Cali.

Oh, and before you cast that stone - there are ton's of people here on record saying they'll vote for anything(even iinanimate objects) before voting for a Republican.

Liberalism has wrecked Cali - it's time for a strong Republican push to fix what ails them.

And Arnold and the Republicans will do that, how? See, that's the point here, Arnold has no plan. The republicans have no plan. What are they going to do? Either they raise taxes or they slash services. It's one or the other. The republicans in Sacramento blocked any tax-increases. Slashing services is harder than it sounds. Is that what Arnie's gonna do? At this point it's difficult to take him seriously...

I'd like to hear what this supposed "strong republican leadership" will do for CA, because so far I haven't heard jack squat.

Did I voice my strong backing of Arnold for Govenor in this thread? I don't believe Arny would provide that strong Republican leadership - but it'd be better than Grey-out.
I don't know if California has a candidate that will make the tough decisions. I sure hope they do since obviously Grey-out isn't getting the job done. But yes - slashing their budget is going to have to happen....OR they're going to have to hope for a gigantic economic push to bouy them a bit so they can be a little more "delicate" with their entitlement and program cuts.
