When a hate filled meatball is portraying Trump as liberal, we are definitely in worst timeline. So much hate, vitriol, self-loathing, negative projection and overall rear end pudding explosions from these meatballs.

yes and at least a good part of his campaign management. He did not craft the ad.

I can not imagine how bad this 2024 election will become. This is going to be one nasty election cycle. Just imagine the ads against trans, against gays, against drag queens. We won't be voting for Biden or for Trump or for DeSantis, people will be convinced the choice is to make America gay, or to keep America straight? And all of it in the name of "PROTECTING THE CHILDREN". "THE CHILDREN". Biden is coming after the children.

What is happening now, the SCOTUS ruling, all of this is just laying the groundwork. It won't be about Ukraine or jobs or the economy, it will only be about whether or not the government will force your kid to change his sexual identity. You know.... the Biden agenda.

It’s kind of incredible how badly DeSantis has fucked this up.

The way to beat Trump has always been obvious - ‘I’m a winner and he’s a loser.’

I'm posting this tweet straight from the DeSantis Campaign without commentary. Judge for yourself. Is this ad civilized issue orientated political discourse or just a homophobic attack against LGBTQ people?

It's an ad aimed at extremists, I find it off-putting because of that. But it's also a response to the current trend of "anything goes", another idea that I'm not a fan of.

I get the sense from this ad that Ron is very insecure about his sexuality.
If I wore these boots, I would get a little insecure.

If you mean "anything goes" is synonymous with being openly racist then I'm against that as well.

It’s very funny to me how a certain subsection of society that is stridently homophobic views the Greeks, and Spartans in particular, as the epitome of manliness.
IMO this is because they admire the Spartans' ability to subjugate and enslave the helots.

And yet you're making anti-trans and anti-gay comments on this forum. What precisely do you find off-putting? Is there a phobia curve I'm not aware of, where people are cool with being shitty to minorities, but for some of them there is such a thing as being 'too shitty'?

A lot of bigots have overly inflated views of their own tolerance that if the bigotry is too weird or blunt they suddenly get uneasy on the other side of the line because they don't see themselves that way.

Greenman thinks the majority of the Republican base are extremists. He gets it! Maybe he is finally coming around :D:D:D

I mean we know he isn't, but still, it's ironic the total lack of awareness.

I'd say a large chunk of the Republican base has taken on the attitude of locking themselves in a beat down clunker in the middle of Mainstreet USA, running a hose into the car from the exhaust pipe, gunning the engine while sucking in all of that racist homophobic smelling fumes while yelling at passerby "Yuh see what y'all is making me do? Why are you making me do this to myself?!!?". People outside are yelling back "Cut the engine and step outside!! Cut the engine and step outside!!" To which the Magat guns the engine even harder than before while screaming "What? What you say? I can't hear you!!".

Damn Pence grows a pair

Sadly it won’t turn off any voters he’s attempting to target. They’ll just double down with more hang Mike Pence chants.

Reminds me of the dinner plate scene in La Cage aux Folles.

Interesting @pcgeek11 doesn't think this ad is an attack on gay people.

Wonder what is his threshold? An ad with a thumbs up for the Pulse Nightclub massacre??
