it depends how old you are. if you're 50 with a 30 year old, thats fine. If you're 30 with a 10 year old, you got problems.

never heard that rule before...but I dont know if I would agree...I am 25, so that means 19 is ok?

Well this totally changes by age, I do not agree a 25 year old should date a 17 year old...8 year difference
But I do agree with a 45 year old dating a 53 year old.. again 8 year difference



I think the older you and your partner are the less this really matters.

past 18, it's really your own choice.

A 40 yr old's 4-5 year diff. is not the same as an 18 yr old's 4-5 year diff.

Yep.

Age difference really doesn't matter if you get along and have some common interests and goals.
It does matter though if someone is talking about doing something illegal, i.e. an adult with someone who is underage.
