They started to sell like hotcakes once someone hacked it to a $99 linux box (www.linux-hacker.net/iopener/)... I wonder if the XBOX will also be hacked. This would be cool to have a GF3, nforce etc for $300. Just wondering if you think it will come to pass. I will definently buy one as they are cheap (300) and look really cool if a hack comes.

As a side not I heard M$ will lose $200 per unit sold. OUCH!
 
as for losing 200per unit.. uh what? i doubt it .. link ? .. as for the linux port, yes, oh and NetBSD yes, that will get on there too, might even be the netbsd guys who figure it out first even, but ya defintely ..
