Poll regarding jean shorts

It's not so much a matter of if I think they are OK or not, it's just that I honestly don't give a damn. Oh, and I'm in the 26-34 group.
 
I don't get why anyone cares whether someone else thinks they're "acceptable" or not. Why live your life worrying about what other people think? If YOU like them and are comfortable in them, wear them. I will admit that there might be situations where denim may be "too casual", and perhaps khaki shorts would be "more appropriate", but come on...shorts are shorts. As long as they cover your ugly ass and aren't ripped and full of holes, what does it matter? 😛

Personally, I don't care what people think about them. What I'd like to see is an age correlation of who finds them acceptable and who doesn't.

I stopped wearing them 2 years ago (except for the occasional fishing/yard work day). The switch was to jeans/slacks only. This was after being ridiculed by young-ens for wearing shorts. Plus, all of my jean shorts had seen better days, so why go out and replace them with an out-of-style new pair? That does bring up an interesting idea: if your clothes are old and worn out, then don't buy replacements of the same thing because the replacements are not in style.

I'm 30 years old now.

Note: I did recently buy one pair of khaki shorts to please my GF. This is my only pair of shorts that I wear in public.

I think most people over age 45 will have very similar opinions regarding fashion -- they don't give a shit. lol
 
for men or women? little jean shorts look sexy on women (who are in good shape, no fat chicks please). jean shorts on men are pretty outta style.
 
When it comes to fashion trends, I don't care. I try to look nice when I need to look nice, otherwise whatever is comfortable.

I don't own a pair of jorts.
