Sometimes Im surfing whilst posting messages...

I also see about 400 members on these boards..

I dunno if this has been brought up before, but how about a real-time chat area, where
we can all chat to each-other real-time??

I'll do a poll, to see what others think, and perphaps the mods, can tell
us if its gonna be in the next verison of fusetalk.

Real-Time chat has been in fusetalk since day one. Using it on a site of this size is just not warranted. The chat is meant for smaller usage, and we will never enable it here as this forum is one of the busiest on the internet today. The only chat that can withstand load properly is good old IRC 😉
 
and also, using a proper (no offense zuni, but you know what i mean) IRC client is always easy and more flexible than using a web IRC client (or whatever you' call it).
 
Yeah but the fusetalk chat is shathouse!
I'm pretty sure there's a #anandtech on efnet, but I don't know if it's official or not.
