The movie was a bit over saturated on the color spectrum. Yes, I understand it was based on a comic book and stuff. But if they wanted to do it as a cartoon, they could have just done one instead. But with all the CGI they added to it, it was practically a cartoon, anyhow. Once I adjusted the eye bleeding color a bit, it was more enjoyable.

And if you mostly enjoy watching muscle flexing, sweaty, semi-nude steroid males beating the crap out of each other most of the time, it is practically male soft core. I was a bit disappointed by the 300 movie making effort, actually. Another Gladiator with Russel Crow, it was not. Thanks Ridley!

I tried watching it last night on a small tv. I fell asleep. Its torturing of history kind of put me off, and the action was silly and repetitive. Had I watched it in HD on a big screen, it might have been different, but I suspect I would still have fallen asleep.
