I guess it's a cake, but... Often it resembles a pie.

It's delicious is what it is.

Edit: Glen says it's a custard pie, which makes sense. I'm not totally convinced, though.

It's DEFINETLY pie. Just because it has the word cake in it doesn't mean it is cake. A pineapple is not an apple nor is sweet meat a type of meat.

You know, I was going to make another poll based on this, but when I look up google images for "cream pie" . . . well, I think I'd be better off *not*doing something of that kind.
