you should add the following option to your poll:

"Who thinks they will be buying either an NV20 or Rampage within a year?"

I'd vote this one, because I won't make my decision until I see them both perform.

Rite now, I would prefer NV20, and I have a feeling that Rampage w/o the gigapixel's technology it would not going be able to pull ahead of NV20...
just not going to be like next big thing my feel about it. Althou, its still early and HSR is really surprised me about 3dfx power.

I just want to add one more comments no other card for the next generation would compete against Rampage and NV20

Some famous known next generation card
NV20
Rampage
RadeonII
G800

Rampage would come after NV20 and RadeonII released.
NV20 would come out first.

G800 should be on the bottom again considering it is still more focused on business and corporations.

After seeing both, I'd get which ever one is fastest.

Right now I have 1 - V3 3000 & 2 Herc.Prop2 64mb cards. I don't plan on selling my 64mb GTS cards soon.

I really doubt 3Dfx will have anything to compete against Nvidia anytime soon.

But who knows, maybe Ati or Matrox will come up w/ something.

Stupid poll. How about an option saying who'll buy whatever card out there that's the best?...

My answer to that q is...I would.

I think everyone is missing the point. It doesn't matter whether Rampage or NV20 is better because glide cant compete with D3D. For the past couple years glide was much better and slowly D3D has caught up and passed it. Now with DX8 it has left glide far behind. So the real question is what games are you going to play on a Rampage?
