I'm in the process setting up a new business scanning documents to .pdf using a high volume document scanner. I think I can do ~2 maybe 3 of the cardboard file storage boxes a day on this scanner.
This is with free pickup and delivery, and optional off site storage of $.50 - $1.00 a box per month (depending on the number of boxes being stored)
Vote your answer and what you think of the idea....
So far I've gotten a lot of feedback that most of the businesses (law offices, dental practices, and realestate brokerages) in my area are very interested, but I haven't given anyone any prices yet until I've been able to actually scan a few different size storage boxes to see how much time it will actually take per box.
edit: I will have a document that will be signed for affirmation of confidential information to protect/enforce the privacy act laws, when I get this rolling it won't be a problem.
