UT definitely. Q3 has the edge in technology but UT is more fun to play with a group of people because there are more options than just deathmatch and CTF...

I say UT. Quake 3 is fun, but with small maps and fewer weapons (with no secondary fire!) it doesn't compare to UT. And I think Quake 3 is overrated graphic-wise. I like the UT engine better, so what if it's aging?

quake3 is much nicer overall...but unreal is much more fun to play.

Unreal tournament is fun to play and has a variety of weapons and firing modes.

After playing the Quake 3 demo, I have to say that if you play Quake, you have to be almost accurate because in that game, you do not have that rocket launcher like you do in Unreal Tournament.

But after awhile, game play is dull with Quake 3. UT is more interesting.
