Please read if Hotmail is your primary email service.
I know that Hotmail is notorious for spam and its limited storage space (2MB). But, these things aside, would you purchase additional space at Hotmail? I recieved this email today:

Delete some messages so you are under your current account size limit of 2.00MB.
Your account can hold up to 2.00MB. If the messages in your account exceed this limit on Oct 27 2001, some of your messages will be deleted. Even if you delete some messages today, any messages you may receive by that date will be included in your total account size, so it is best to get your total as low as you can. One good strategy for lowering your account size is to focus on messages with attachments, as they tend to be the largest in size.
Hotmail.com users:
To determine the size of your account, click Manage Folders from within the Inbox. The total size of your account is shown at the bottom of the Folders List.
MSN Explorer users:
To determine the size of your account, go to your E-mail Inbox. Click Show Folders and then click on the Organize Folders link. The total for your MSN Hotmail Folders is shown at the bottom of the "Folders on MSN" list.
As an MSN Explorer user, you don't have to delete messages to free up space. Instead, you can move them to the folders listed under "Folders on My Computer", which don't count against your limit.
Total size of your account: 2.15MB
