Yeah and with 8800GTX SLI a kW PS is necessary. A single socket with Kentsfield gives equal performance as AMD's quad with MUCH lower power.

Apparently, AMD's 65nm chips are going to have less idle power consumption than Intels. I'm not sure if they will be making the quad chips in 65nm, though. Just thought I'd share something I learned today 🙂
