I don't have a problem with it. I think by making it illegal it just drives these girls furthur and furthur under into a horrible world of pimps. I forget where, but there is a city or country in Europe where it's legal (it was not Amsterdam) and its very sophisticated. There is a huge centralized place where these girls work. All the rooms have cameras and alarms so the girls cannot get hurt. Girls can refuse any clients for whatever reason they want. Police monitor the place to make sure its all safe. STD tests on girls, safe sex, no pimps etc. And the police crack down on illegal prostitution, but any guy can go anoynomously to this place, get what they want, pay, girls are not in danger, etc. Sounds great to me. Sounds like making it illegal here leads to MORE problems.

you could say the same thing about suicide, but thats not considered moral or legal.
it is an utter disgrace that suicide is illegal

that is the ultimate fundamental right of a human in my opinion

i don't think it's right, and i would never go to one, but i don't think it should be against the law.

I agree, conditionally. There have to be controls on both sides for communicable diseases, and payment should be restricted to the prostitue only. Pimps, in whatever form, should be excluded from benefitting in any way.

Place the blame on that one on religion. Where so much else blame should be placed as well.

as opposed to the death of a taxpayer?

It's sick to see these results. How could you not have a moral objection to prostitution? However, I guess this is the wrong place to post a poll like this because these results are quite subjective probably due to the lack of sexual activity here.

Disgusting.

It's not hard to go out and find some p*ssy or a gf; there's no need to embrace prostitution.

Depends on what you mean by embrace prostitution. Street prostitution is indeed harder to accept as so many of the women there are abused and are merely supporting a life long drug habit. However prostitution in general is defensible. Properly regulated and controlled as it is in places like Amsterdam and outside Vegas it becomes more of a legitimate source of income than simply the only means left to support a drug habit. In these areas not all women who get into the business are 'battered' women as stereotypes would have you believe. In this case I see little difference between prostitution and "go[ing] out and find[ing] some p*ssy" as you say. In fact I'd say it's better because if that's all you are after those on both sides know the deal.

Well yeah that too. But the real vitriolic arguments against it are usually religion based.

if you were really such the player you portray yourself as [and if not trolling], even *WE* have bad nights.

I haven't paid for sex [directly that is], but I can see the benefit.

a gf is hard unless you don't care who is around you regularly.

it is easy to find the former.

Okay, your poll is f%$#ed up; the highest quality (legal) prostitutes are actually found in a small town called Mound House, better known as the Prostitution Captiol of the USA, about an hour away from Reno. Prostitution is completely illegal in both Las Vegas and Clark County, which Las Vegas is located in. Clark County is also huge, taking up about 1/5th of Nevada.

So anyway, I once dated an "escort". No, not for money, like actually dated. It was interesting, lemme tell ya.
