good argument, any anti-war answers?

Well, couldn't the US just send in some special forces or some other mission to get rid of him without a full out war?

Death in the case of war is certain. It is speculative in the absence of war.

Illegal? Who's gonna stop them? I'd think a few hundred deaths would be preferable than thousands.

yeah, everyone's entitled to their own opinions...no matter what it is, this is AMERICA...u express ur ideas because u are an AMERICAN.....

i really really like this one dude's sig in here...it said something like "i may disagree w/ you, but i'll fight for your right to say it" or something like that..i forgot who it was and what it said actually, but u get the idea...

i'm pro-war...but war itself is horrible yes...but for the sake of the middle east, saddam must be unseated from power...(and get cheap gas hehe ohhhhh yeah flame me for it :: flame suit on :: )

*zips up flame suit*

No one in their Right Mind is PRO WAR! Its very possible to be in favor if what bush is doing, ie. a military engagment, but no sane, logical person is pro war. Who would want to wish the kind of death and suffering that comes from full blown out war?

Now why did I anticipate this?

Death in the case of war is certain. War = Death. Do you disagree?
Death in the absence of war is speculative. You cannot say what Saddam will do in the future. Oh yes, he kills those who oppose him, but Saddam can be hobbled by forced disarmament, institution of a nation wide no fly zone. Lots of things. The damage Saddam can inflict can be limited if there is a good faith effort to do so. If an attack on Baghdad happens, the number of dead could be enormous. For sure, there are going to be many dead. That is the nature of war.
