hmm....the Sky looks a bit better, I think.

Sky. Although, if they're going to have only one tailpipe, they should have had it exit in the center of the rear fascia, rather than on the side. I like the exhaust treatment better on the Solstice.

Solstice, without question. Sky is a trendy design that will look out of place/dated 5 years from now. The Solstice has a classic look that won't tire as easily. It's the same way that Miatas of any year still look rather good today. Now go back and look at something like a Mercury Capri of the same vintage.

It's the same reason why I think that the Z3 is a much more classy/classic design than the trendy Z4 and why I prefer the RX-7 over the Transformers look of the RX-8

Sorry, the pictures I had posted were the Concepts, which is 99% identical to the production version. That 1% however, is that exhaust pipe 😉. The Solstice will have a singular exhaust on the right side, just like the Sky.

It was the best place I could find that offered unopinionated high resolution pictures of both cars. Regardless, aside from the exhaust tip, its the same car 😛.

well that's kind of funny because I was goin to post and say theonly 2 things i dont like about the solstice were the vertical exhaust config and the nose/grille. Unfortunately I was so revolted by the sky that I choked water al over my keyboard and had to dig out my mini-usb keyboard to typr this.

Seriously if i had a solstice first order of busiess is shaving the pontiac tags. then look into replacing dual grill with single, symmetric rounded grille, or at least cutting out that center bar.

as far as sky it is awkward blend of angles and curves. headlights buldge up too much, and the (front brake duct?) side panels are too sharp. it does *look* a lot lighter than the solstice - very stripped down feel but it is just too much.
