I`ve never had a really bad motherboard(I stick to the top brands)but have been told by many people including PC engineers that PC chips are the worst.
How about adding Tekram? I bought one of the their boards from a local shop and it was dead when I got it home, they gave me another and I took it home and it was dead as well. Returned to the shop and had them test one before I took it home. The 3rd board was good but come on!!! Also I've worked on 3-4 systems for other people that had Tekram boards in their PC's and they were nothing but trouble!!!
PC Chips/Elpina/Whovever else uses their shiznity chipset motherboards..I get nothing but headaches and BSOD's when using these things..I use them for skeet shooting and doorstops.:disgust:
Damn, I forgot about that damn VA6 too. It was the most unstable piece of crap I ever had. I actually threw the board away because I didnt have the heart to sell it here.
Come on...Intel motherboards the worst? No way! Maybe they aren't the best for overclocking or have the most features but they are rock soild and high quality.
Of the ones I've owned, a toss-up between Intel (no features, in-built graphics and sound) and Abit (KT7-RAID - neverending problems, crashes, freezes).
