Absolutely nasty... everyone owes it to themselves just once in life to taste this thing. Short of that, wear the same pair of socks for 3 weeks, wrap them around your face, sit neck-deep in a sewer and take a deep breath. Ahhhh! - Durian.

Durian isn't bad, but the best fruit I've ever tasted has to be rambutan.

Chooie you live in southeast asia or been there? Durian smells.....well....bad but rambutan is sweet! I lived in singapore for a year and a half and man the food was the bomb! BTW Grapefruits are a great size...

I went during chinese new year my freshman year of HS. Got to meet a ton of family out there, and got sick as a dog adjusting to the climate. Have you noticed that the soy sauce tastes different out there? It's much sweeter, especially when splashed on rice. I have tried every type of sauce I can find out here (and chinatown is only 30 mins away from me, so I've tried them ALL ), and I can't replicate that taste.
