What port's your pointing device connected to?

I have mine on PS/2 as I have a KVM Switch that only has PS/2 Ports on it.

Update: Post what type of mouse you have... MS Intellimouse Explorer

My mouse is USB but it came with one of those USB/PS2 connector things. I just used that cuz for awhile I had limited USB ports.

usb , but only because this motherboard has both the ps/2 mouse and ps/2 keyboard connector broken (i got it cheeeeap cause of that) , so it is usb keyboard/mouse by necessity, otherwise it would be ps/2

PS2 ports. That's what they're freakin' there for, and they do a stupendous job of supporting my keyboard and mouse. If you're plugging your mouse into the USB port next to that perfectly functional PS2 port, you're not allocating resources efficiently. 😛

USB & PS/2. My trackpoint & touchpad on my laptop are through a PS/2 interface while my external keyboard & external mouse are USB.

But, but, I like my Wacom 9x12 Intuos2 tablet, even if it doesn't come in a ps2 port version.

Besides, this computer claims I'm only using interrupts 0,1,6,8,13,15,20,31,40, and 44, so I'm not completely out of resources.
