Please help with the search for an HONEST DEMOCRAT IN FLORIDA (HDIF}.

As was reported previously here in AT/OT, we have been searching for an Honest Democrat In Florida. We reported that one had been found.

A little history.

We assembled a Search Board of 2 republicans & 1 democrat. The initial criteria were simple. The person must have been in Florida, be a Democrat & be honest.

Last week we thought we had found one. He was buried in 1960 & voted for Bush in this election. Further investigation revealed that he, indeed was honest & voted for Bush. However, the signature when he registered as a democrat, this year, could not be verified. All of his remaining living relatives assured us that he was a republican. We had waived the requirement for a valid post mark, as we all know how difficult it is to get a postmark in the cemetary. His witness on the ballot was St Peter. We thought that a bit strange, him being a democrat & all, however the official seal was in order. We think the confusion came about because he was registered in Palm Beach & inadvertantly punched the wrong hole.

It was with great sadness that we had to disqualify him.

We have, therefore, decided to expand the search with nominations from OT.

Because of the difficulty in locating said HONEST DEMOCRAT, we have decided to loosen the search criteria.

THE HONEST DEMOCRAT must only have seen Florida on a map, or thought about Florida sometime in his life. There is no longer a requirement that he ever actually visted or lived in Florida.

Please note that Bigfoot has already been nominated. Indeed we think he was a democrat based on published reports of examination of Bigfoot scat. However it is unlikely he is human, so it is with reluctance that Bigfoot is excluded.

YETI was nominated & excluded for a similar reason.

Jesus Christ was also nominated. The stories of him being born of a virgin & feeding many people from 3 fish & a few loaves of bread were certainly consistant with democrat exaggeration, so we allowed that perhaps he was a democrat, however there is no evidence that he knew of Florida, as it had not been discovered at that point in time. We reluctantly excluded him, as well.

We reserve the right in the future to reinstate Jesus, YETI, or Bigfoot if no HDIF is found.

The floor is open for nominations, along with proof of honesty *.

* note pi$$ing on a republican or democrat foot nearby & saying it is raining, is not acceptable as proof of honesty.

ride that's a bit of generalization, but what it does show is how many people here have no credibility. Can someone make a statement like that, even with an attempt at humor, and expect anyone to take them seriously in regard to political (or any other) post they make? There is a difference between saying something in the heat of the moment and having a calculated, unconditional bias. This was an example of the latter.

Oh yeah, I get it now....this post REALLY funny.....

The folks in Florida are trying to do their jobs. Yeah, in an honest and legal manner. Trying to infer that all or even some are dishonest isn't funny at all. And untrue.

Just as I thought... all hot air... there are no known HONEST DEMOCRATS IN FLORIDA ,

note, they do not have to be living ( recently expanded criteria)

It is with regret that I announce that our democrat board member has been called to Broward county to assist in reviewing dimpled chads. We all felt sorry for him with the recent cold snap. His scales have been catching in the grass & his hiss has become much less forcefull with the metabolic slowdown caused by the cold. He was not arroused even by the close proximity of a local exotic dancer, party afffiliation, Unknown.

He , however, left us a number of precertified, premarked ballots with dimpled chads, with instructions to use them as we see fit, with the exception of calling them for Bush.

Cxim,

Ever notice how liberals only have a sense of humor when the target of the joke is a Conservative?

I think the Dem. Judge on the Palm Beach Canvassing Board is doing pretty well. He seems to ignore all the partisan talk going on around him. I haven't seen anyone else on either side doing it as well.
