Downloading it right now...slow, but steady. I've got about 2bits coming into this cable modem right now, so 15KB is impressive. ;)

What softwares did you use to do this? I've been interested in this kind of stuff for awhile -- never really had the initiative to get the software and learn how to do it though. :Q What did you use?

Konichiwa...

mainly BPM-studio for the mixing.... and acid and soundforge for some sampling

Well.
Im listening now.
Trance as a mixing style is not very active on the decks compared to to techno, jungle, house etc.
But I would say that you need to mix more then just the last 20 seconds to a minute of the track.
You need to give small preview cuts of the next track, give an idea of a slow integration into the next track.
Trance is intended to have very smooth and flowing mixing, but track end to track end is not very exciting.
Use the decks and the record as a tool, tricks are the key. That is if you are using vinyl. CD mixing is a little different, and MP3s, well Im not sure, thats a whole differnt thing, I would not consider mixing.
But IMHO you need more time IN the mix, or previewing.
:)

I listened to the first 15 minutes, I really got bored of it pretty quickly. I like Paul van Dyk a lot, but this mix didn't really keep my attention.

One comment: the doode talking in the beginning ("I want you to stop and listen...") was kind of corny, otherwise I liked it! Pretty good work... :)

i listened to it and like someone else said...you need to mix. Learn to beat match and flow. Your track selection is pretty good, even with trance. I hate trance with a passion but some of these tracks were pretty good. Techouse is the best.
