Do not use flags as a portion of a costume or athletic uniform. Do not embroider them on cushions or handkerchiefs, nor print them on paper napkins or boxes.
Think he combined All Gore and Bob Dole. That wasn't really a flag, it was just a design. I see clothes with strips and such all the time. Its an old picture though, so I don't see anything wrong with it.

I didn't notice that. I saw saw a flag but didn't pay attention.
When the U.S. flag is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, it should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably via flag disposal ceremonies held at your local VFW or American Legion Posts.
