POLL: Paper or Plastic?

The commissary on post just switched to paper bags and they are HORRIBLE. Instead of 2 trips to unload my car, it now takes 5-6 because of how ackward they are to carry. And one bag dropped after ripping in half. Plus plastic bags make handy trash bags for small trash cans.

Oh well, no tax on post, and a gallon of milk was $1.55 (compared to $3.55 at walmart).

I don't remember the last time that i got paper at supermarkets.
Last time i saw that was in California back in 1994.
Here in long island NY all plastic.

Paper bags are the ultimate in New Age rippage technology, useless. Plus probably worse for the environment than plastic bags.

Paper bags suck, they're huge and hard to carry. The only time I reuse them is in 1 trash can that I hardly every use.

Bring your own cloth bags. Reuseable, easy to carry, don't rip out, some places give 5 cent discounts, washable, and you can put totally hip designs, pictures, sayings on the outside. Women find men with cloth grocery bags very excitng.

I hate plastic. One grocery place here in town has paper which is awesome. I hate going to Wal-Mart and having them put your items in about ten thousand plastic bags. Annoying as fvck. Plus I like to use the paper bags for returnable cans.

Actually paper bags are much worse environmentally than plastic bags (unless littered around the country side off course)
