I would ask for everybodies opinions on VOIP providers. I just signed up for packet8 since they have some pretty cheap plans going right now that should save me about $30 per month ($20.55 for phone service with unlimited calling/LD). I am really interested in current users opinions on the quality of the calls and what kind of ping times you get to proxy.packet8.com. I get about 85 ms so I think that the quality should be reasonable.
For those of you who don't have VOIP, what would it take for you to make the transition? For me it was the lower prices and the fact that I don't think very highly of SBC or MCI.
