Time for the annual "Have you seen any of the Best Picture nominations" thread...

Doesn't matter if you saw it in the theater, online, on DVD, etc.. Just have you seen any of them?

And the Nominations Are:

Atonement
Juno
Michael Clayton
No Country for Old Men
There Will Be Blood

I haven't seen any.

I've seen all except Atonement.

The Tomato-meter has

No Country - 94%
Juno - 93%
There Will be Blood - 91%
Michael Clayton - 90%
Atonement - 84%

I'd give to to No Country for Old Men, that was the one I enjoyed the most.

No Country should win, but Daniel Day Lewis very well could be best actor. TWBB was too slow and plodding for my taste to be considered a great movie, plus the last 20 minutes or so was kind of a wreck.

Funny thing is, any time I hear his name, the only movie I think of is Last of the Mohicans... I love that movie but it's soooo old. But I guess he's only done 7 other movies since then.

Michael Clayton was written/acted very well I thought - everything came together at the end, but I really diddn't think about it too much afterwards.

No Country for Old Men I kept thinking about ( lots of stuff to miss ).

Wish I had seen There Will Be Blood and Juno though.

I saw Juno, No Country For Old Men, and There Will Be Blood. I loved all three, but TWBB got my vote. Still, if Eastern Promises had made the list, that may have taken it - that was a great movie.

I have only seen Atonement and Michael Clayton. I did see 'Into the Wild' and I honestly loved it much more than Atonement. I'd pick Michael Clayton over Atonement.

Waiting for the other three to either get a release here (or come out on DVD).

BTW, any movies you guys think should have been nominated but weren't? I am gonna go with Into the Wild. I was pretty surprised Atonement made the list but Sean Penn's brilliant directorial venture didn't.
