One of my favorite CDs of all time. I always listen all the way through the hidden track.

I don't know, they might not be in the exact same genre, but i still think Stabbing Westward can still whup most of the bands out there. Maybe it was just me, but Nirvana's lyrics left more to be desired.

Nirvana's alright, the only thing is they are always being credited with 'creating' the grunge sound, when several alternative (skate rock) bands had that sound 10 years before heroin junky-boy hit puberty. True, Nirvana made it popular, but 'innovative' they are not.

Although, this is not unusual in pop-culture for a band to get credit for 'originality' that someone else was doing 10 years earlier and never received recognition for it. I don't blame Nirvana for rolling with it. I don't think they ever personally claimed "Yeah, we invented that."

<< Kobain didn't invent it be any means, he just did it more artisticly than anyone else. >>

Ah, you mean that Kobain mumbled a lot and went "wa-oh waohhhh" or "yeah yeah" more than anyone else (because he was stoned out his gourd). I supposed that is true. lol!

i like some of their other releases better, "bleach" is more of a garage sound and has more raw power to me. maybe nevermind had too much airplay so i was a little sick of it. i still like listening to bleach and the old sonic youth and social d.

I loved Nirvana back in High School. I was one of those punk/grunge kids of the early ninties. Nevermind was a great album that defined a generation of music...

I can more oe less agree with that. I'm still a big nirvana Fan I still occasionly throgh in Bleach and In Utero.

Nevermind got a *LOT* of Airplay and I never got sick of it because more or less it's what kept me sane in high school, and so it has more of a sentamental vaule to it.

Although it's a good album I much prefer the stadium rock/hair metal of the eighties. Give me Guns N' Roses and Metallica over Nirvana anyday of the week.

i got that album ripped on my puter, it's pretty good stuff, i've never listened to it much cuz it never comes up on shuffle, pretty good stuff, Smells Like Teen Spirit would prolly have to be my fav off of that album, i guess i'm on the bandwagon with this band, oh well, all in all i'd say it's a good CD
