Answer the door today, and it's a UPS guy. I'm curious, 'cause I haven't ordered anything. The guy delivers a box from buy.com, the box contains 6 D-Link wireless USB network cards. These things ain't cheap!! (at least $100 a pop - that's more than $600 in merchandise).
I know I didn't place any order, nothings been charged to my card, and there's no order under my account, so it must be a goofup in the shipping area.
Now I know legally I can keep the items and not pay for them. There's no way they can force you to pay for an item you didn't order..... But ethically that doesn't sit right with me, so I tried to call buy.com to notify them.... but noooooooo, they don't have a phone number anymore, email only. Grrrrrr. They're lucky I'm honest, otherwise I would not have gone through the hassle of contacting them.
If you knew there was no way they could charge you, that you'd get to keep the merchandise for free (sell on ebay or something), what would you do??
