I've got a 30&45 Gigger and the 45 Gigger is starting to go. I can hear the thing starting to grind. All this despite the windows patch so I figure it must be mechanical.

Single 75GXP (45 gig) has been running in 3 different motherboards since September (7 months) without any problems. It's currently in Raid-0 on a Promise IDE Raid controller, on 24/7, for two months now. No problems.
