It better not be a another stupid teaser, I'm getting sick of the "the search for mulder is over".

Chris Carter himself admitted this episode wasn't necessarily the "return" of Mulder, nor would it completely explain his absence - if it did, why would we watch any more? I think it's Fox that's trying to over-hype each and every episode now, not necessarily the show's creators.

Duchovny will be back full-time for 8 episodes this season (he did cameos for another 5, some of which have already aired), and he's said he'll do another X-Files movie and is "open" to appearing as a guest star in another season of the show.

I'm still halfway through the episode, so I don't even know how it's going to end yet, but I assume by jacobnero's post that they don't find Mulder yet.

Maybe I'm just used to the way Chris Carter ends these arcs, but I wasn't all that surprised by the way and place this one ended. He sets up so many stupid cliffhangers within cliffhangers that I never expect anything to ever be resolved.

It was a good episode overall, but I'm wondering if the lighting crew is on strike or what. I didn't think it could get much darker than last season, but 3/4 of this episode was filmed in the dark with only minimal lighting and as usual, everyone looked sweaty. You'd think they'd have powder and deodorant in "Montana."

Too funny....cliffhangers within cliffhangers.....it becomes annoying after awhile geez just gives us some clear answers.

The final episode will be Mulder catching a alien and then making hot love to Scully.

Yeah Baby, talk about a close encounter!

I like how Fox said "Stay tuned for scenes from next Sunday" and then after you wait they tell you "All new episodes starting April 1st." :frown:

another episode without an ending...:frown: I hope they'll actually finish this one, and not just roll over to another mystery, it's getting annoying.

Digobick, they're going to run a few episodes of the new Lone Gunman series in X-files' place until then. It sucks, but again, nothing I'm not used to after all these years watching the way they air this show. :(

Before they decided to continue the series for this season, Carter said he'd make sure that everything would be revealed in the final episodes, but it never was - I'm beginning to think he hasn't got a clue how it's supposed to end, he's just stringing us all along as he goes without any big master plan. He's got to save something for the movie, I guess.

Sorry!

I hope I didn't spoil it for you. I was assuming everyone had seen it. I apologize.
