Hey can anybody please give me what is this problem all about?
Recently I bought a Thunderbird 900mHz with the Asus A7V133.
I must say, this is the only board that I can bring the FSB higher than 108mHz.
I bought an MSI board too, and it will not POST during boot.

Well, as I can bring it up higher than 108, I tried bringing it to 124mHz with 1.55V.
And the problem is this.

Clocking higher than 115mHz will cause the same problem below.
The Dual Boot screen will not show up. (WinME and Win2K)
If really it showed up, some weird registers problem occur.
If it really boots under ME, it will show the blue screen o death.

Anybody can tell me why?
Thanks very much. And I must say, this Asus A7V133 rocks big time!!!!

Yes, I think you have doggie 900 Tbird syndrome...I had it too with a 900. Won't o/c worth a crap!!!

Have you tried lowering multiplier? That will tell your if your chip has reached it's limit or your motherboard won't support theincreased stress on the faster fsb.

How 'bout voltage. Did you/can you increase .025 or .05? It's such a small overclock, one wouldn't think additional v-core would be needed, would one? :D

At 1.55V? That's not even teh standard Vcore man, go up it to at least 1.75 which is the rated voltage. If you plan on overclocking you will need to go up to 1.8-1.85.
