Everyone ridiculed the name Wii when Nintendo revealed the official name of the system. Many would have rather they stuck with Revolution or used anything else but Wii. But then many people were very sceptical about the remote control like controller when it was revealed too, 'people aren't going to want to wave their hands about when playing a game'. etc. etc. And look how successful that has turned out to be. So now that it's been out for a while and you've had time to get accustomed to the name and maybe the system if you have one, what do you now make of the name. Success or blemish?
 
I still think the name is stupid. But Zelda was awesome; I love Zelda. Zelda Zelda Zelda.
 
Um...not the sort of thing I care about...If anything, I like "Wii" better than "Revolution" because it has less syllables.
 
I think the wii's success is based on the price, not the name or annoying controls.

I thought it was a pretty silly name then and now, but Nintendo's laughing all the way to the bank, so more power to 'em. 🙂
