*POLL* non drinkers ?

Who here doesn't drink socially or otherwise ?

I don't drink because I never had the urge.. tried it a couple times in college... and like with smoking... no reason for me to do it.

i used to alot a while back then i just quit. Of course, it took an out-of-control situation but me no like -OH groups in my liver

When I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself..

Will have a beer or two socially.

Will drink a glass or two of wine at home.

I used to drink like a fish but now I rarely have the urge to, every once in a while I'll have a few beers.

Define drinking. If you mean drinking until you're drunk, then I rarely do that... if you count having a beer with dinner, then I even drink alone sometimes.

When I say non-drinker, I mean if you were at a house party and there were drinks on the table, you'd go for the soda. Basically, no alcohol anymore (whether or not you tried in the past doesn't matter).

I don't drink. At all. I suppose I might imbibe sometime in the future, but I have no desire to right now, especially since I'm training for track season over the winter. Not to mention I'm usually a DD.

I've started drinking recently for a few reasons:
1. Girls like guys that drink more than those who don't.
2. My friends said I would never start.
3. Prove to my friends that not only can I drink but I can drink them into the ground, I'm getting there one small step at a time.
4. I like vodka, a lot. It's like water to me. After using Listerine for a while, everything seems weak in comparison.
5. I've always wanted to find my limit, so far I haven't found it.

I never get plastered. At least not in recent years (isn't worth it!). I will, however, drink socially with much enjoyment and I have absolutely no qualms, if I'm alone some evening, to go through a few beer while watching tv/movies. The whole 'if you drink alone you're an alcoholic is ridiculous. If you're a alcoholic you're a alcoholic and drinking alone does not make you that way unless it's a frequent ordeal. REALLY the definition of an alcoholic is if it's causing you problems in life.
