There will be plenty to go around come launch day unlike Xbox360 and PS3. It's not like I am holding by breath to get one at launch day, I am already busy studying for the CPA exam.

Undecided, but probably not for some time. I was going to, but then the fiance bought me an Xbox360 for my b-day...so I'm very happy with that for the time being.

Waiting to see if any other styles of controller come out and how well they actually work. Not really interested in going through a bunch of crazyness swinging a controller around to play a video game.

The GameCube controller will work with it, and will be required for some games (Super Smash Bros Brawl is the only one I know of right now). The GameCube controller is a good controller... it's about the same size and basic layout as the Xbox S/Xbox 360 controller. I too am kind of worried that the Wii remote will lose its appeal after a while, so I kind of hope a lot of games allow you to use EITHER the Wii remote or the Gamecube controller.

I want to. I have to purchase it from my local Bestbuy (which doesn't take pre-orders), and they are opening at 8 a.m. When should I get there? I don't know how crazy lines get for console launches, as I have never bought a console at launch before. Could I just show up at 8, or should I go earlier, such as 6 a.m.? Or is it necessary to be 'hyper hardcore' and camp outside the store all night

I'd probably get more use out of the Wii and i wouldn't have to put up much more money yet to get one. A gun is going to cost me at least another $200+ yet plus the cost of ammo to get the one i want.
