If the poll doesn't show up I blame the Motorola Q I am posting this with.....

So a few weeks ago I was completely decided on getting the Sansa e280 because of more space, less money, etc...my only complaint would have been the lack of accessories the player has supporting it compared to Apple Ipods. Fast forward a couple weeks and here I am again. New products are out. I really wish manufacturers would support the Sansa line as much as they do with Apple.

Which would you choose?

Well idk much about the specific products, but from reputation I'd expect the Sansa to be a cheaper alternative, whereas the iPod is probably more money.

If I were you I'd go to your local BB and play with both for awhile.

I have the Sansa e280 and love it. I bought my son the new nano video 8gb and have to admit, the new nanos are freaking SWEET. I would still stay with my e280 for 2 reasons. 1. I can add memory to it therefore space will not be an issue as I can carry around 20 2gb MSD chips in my pants coin pocket and the chips are dirt cheap. And 2. The Sansa has a REAL EQ which Apple keeps refusing to incorporate in their ipods! But the new nano video is very sweet and priced right. 200 bucks aint bad for a solid metal thin cool looking mp3/vid player. But, the EQ thing not to mention the sansa can record, has a radio and is upgradable memorywise and easy battery replacement.

I may sell my e280 and get the view. I love the interface. Love feeling the wheel turn as opposed to the touch-crap from the pods.

I'm a big fan of iTunes. The new Nanos are really neat too. I also like the Sansas...their mechnical turn-wheels are awesome, like Oyeve said. It really boils down to what software you want to use it with. You can use iPods with other stuff like Avapod and whatnot, but iTunes is pretty dang nice, and super easy.
